Gongkwon Yusul Certification (ICP) Process
The official rank and instructor credentials of Gongkwon Yusul are finalized through a rigorous verification process by the Founder. The entire evaluation is conducted systematically through the following steps:
STEP 1. Video Recording & Editing
Candidates must demonstrate every single technique required for their respective Dan level. Selecting only a few specific techniques is strictly prohibited.
As part of the scoring criteria, the maximum length per video must be within 5 minutes.
(Note: '30-minute Meditation (Jeongjwa)' requirements from the offline test are strictly excluded from this online evaluation process.)
Simple cut-editing is permitted to remove dead time or transition periods between movements. The final video should showcase the technical executions back-to-back.
Your entire body must remain fully visible throughout the recording, and only authentic Gongkwon Yusul techniques must be shown.
STEP 2. Video Upload
Upload your edited technical video directly to the dedicated Video Upload section located on the evaluation page. (※ Please note: You must upload the video file directly; submitting a YouTube link is not accepted.)
STEP 3. Direct Assessment by the Founder
Every submitted video is personally and rigorously reviewed by the Founder, Grandmaster Kang Jun. Because every required technique is thoroughly evaluated, the review period takes approximately 14 days or more.
STEP 4. Final Certification & Results
🏆 Upon Passing (Rank & Instructor Credentials)
Upon passing, your official Gongkwon Yusul Certificate will be elegantly presented in a premium case, shipped directly from our Headquarters in South Korea.
Practitioners who successfully pass the evaluation will earn the exclusive right to officially apply for the Gongkwon Yusul Instructor Certification. The Instructor Certification grants formal business rights, including permission to open an official school (Ji-gwan), and requires a separate application fee.
🇺🇸 Special Benefit for U.S. Practitioners: Successful candidates from the United States will receive free, exclusive access to a special 8-hour weekend training session conducted by Master Laura.
❌ Upon Failure (Policy)
If you do not meet the criteria, you will receive specific technical feedback from the Grandmaster.
Candidates who fail must retake the examination within 3 months of receiving their results. A separate examination fee will apply for the retest.
