📹Test Procedure & Policy

 💳 Examination Fee Notice

  • For Full Bundle/Course Purchasers (1st, 2nd, or 3rd Dan Mastery Courses): Your course already includes 1 Video Evaluation Pass. You do not need to pay any additional fee for your first test submission.
  • For Individual Unit Purchasers: If you purchased single units separately, you must purchase an Examination Pass (Black Belt Evaluation Fee) on the website before submitting your video.

📌 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Camera & Video Specifications

Before recording, please ensure your equipment and video file meet the following technical standards:
  • Device: You must use a smartphone camera or a similar digital camera. Camcorders are not permitted.

  • Supported Formats: The video must be saved in one of the following formats: .mp4, .mov, .avi, .wmv, .mpg, .mpeg, or .flv.

  • File Size Limit: The maximum file size allowed for upload is under 1.5 GB. (At 1080p Full HD resolution, 1.5 GB allows for approximately 30 to 40 minutes of continuous recording, which is more than enough for the test).

  • Stability & Framing: The camera must be securely mounted on a tripod or placed firmly on a stable surface and remain completely still. It must always be directed toward the practitioner so the evaluator can clearly see your entire body. If a tripod is unavailable, another person may hold the camera, but they must keep it steady and avoid excessive or shaky movement.

1. Test Procedure & Routine (Step-by-Step)

  • Step 1: Introduction – At the very beginning of the video, look into the camera, clearly state your full name for identity verification, and then begin the test.

  • Step 2: Opening Bow – Before initiating any technique, face your training partner, bow respectfully, and clearly shout "Hoshin!" (호신).

  • Step 3: Pre-Technique Kihap – When you both assume the ready position (such as gripping the Dobok or touching hands), deliver your powerful Kihap (Yell), and then immediately execute the technique.

  • Step 4: Closing Bow – Once all required techniques are completed, face your partner one last time, exchange a final "Hoshin" bow, and then turn off the camera.

  • Time Limit & Editing Rules: The entire video must be completed within 7 minutes and recorded in one single, continuous take. You are strictly prohibited from pausing, stopping, or editing the camera recording mid-test. Any evidence of video editing or cutting will result in an automatic disqualification.

2. How to Submit

  • Website Submission: You must upload and submit your completed 7-minute examination video directly through the official website's designated portal.

3. Evaluation Period

  • 14-Day Review: The official evaluation process takes at least 14 days. Each video is carefully analyzed by our master instructors to ensure all core standards are met.

4-1.Upon Passing (Congratulations!)

If you receive a passing grade, you will be granted the following promotion privileges:

  • Official Rank Certificate: You will gain access to purchase the official certificate matching your new rank. The certificate is sold separately, and international shipping is 100% free.

  • Exclusive Keepers Character: Along with your certificate, you will earn the unique right to purchase and unlock the new "Keepers" avatar/character dedicated to your newly achieved rank.

4-2. Upon Failing (Re-Testing Policy)

Minor errors are acceptable, but if your video demonstrates a lack of basic readiness (such as violating the core pillars), you will receive a failing grade.

  • Re-Submission Fee: To re-take the test, you must purchase a single-use Examination Pass (심사권) again.

  • Preparation for Re-test: Please review the detailed feedback report provided by the evaluators, train thoroughly, and re-submit a newly recorded video following the same guidelines.
