 The Stage of Establishing the Technique (기술을 세우는 단계)

[English] Develop technical precision and f luidi ty w i th Ipgibon (立技本) , the thi rd stage of the Samwonbon ser ies. The name Ipgibon is der ived from the Hanja Ip (立), meaning “to establ ish” or “to bui ld”; G i (技), meaning “technique” or “ski l l”; and Bon (本), meaning “foundat ion, ” “or igin, ” or “root .”

Together , Ipgibon represents “The Stage of Establ ishing the Technique. ” Bui lding upon the pr inciples recognized in Gyeonbeopbon, pract i t ioners now begin to establ ish those pr inciples through technique.

At this stage, str ikes, throws, joint locks, and subm ission techniques are connected into a structured and cont inuous technical system .

Through this process, pract i t ioners develop greater precision, coordinat ion, and f low , establ ishing a sol id technical foundat ion for the more advanced stages of Gongkwon Yusul .
